Many authors are offering read-alouds of their books and books by their favorite authors. Here are a few places to find stories read aloud by adults (not animations).

Dav Pilkey (author of the Dog Man graphic novels and Captain Underpants series) will be posting video content including how-to-draw demonstrations and engaging read alouds.

Every Thursday Kate will post a read-aloud video of two chapters from the book Rescue on the Oregon Trail. Readers can ask the author questions by commenting on her blog.

Author videos himself describing the (local) setting of the book’s scenes by chapter. (These videos should be viewed AFTER reading,)

 

Author reads the first few chapters of his book Coyote Sunrise. Find a copy, read the rest, and meet online toward the end of March to discuss the book.
